Defining Self-Esteem for a New Age
Self-esteem is simply a combination of the strength of our innercore of self, plus the strength of our connection to this core.
Our inner core of self consists of our thoughts, feelings and intuition. Thoughts focus on what and how we think. Feelings show how well we allow ourselves to experience the emotional sensations in our bodies, they measure and our ability to express them in a way which is for our highest good. Intuition is our inner knowing and our ability to hear and trust what we know is for the best in our lives.
Now the relationship between our thoughts, feelings and intuition is the key to our inner solidity and the key to how well we understand their communication patterns. Self-awareness gives us the ability to hear what our thoughts are really saying, what information our feelings are giving us to direct us in our lives and to be aware of how our intuition expresses our deep inner knowing and as a conduit for Spirit to help us in our lives.
Our ability to put this information to use in our daily lives So our connection to our inner coremeasures how well we listento our inner truths, plus how well we use this information and knowledge in our daily lives. We each have these three components which form our inner core. They are the building blocks or our sense of 'self' and our senseof esteem. If we do not understand each element and trengthen each individually, then the whole will not be as strong as possible.
Through this book you will learn to strengthen and access these elements. Access means to be able to use the knowledge and the 'magic' waiting for you. Learning how to access and use our iner truths uncovers self-esteem.
Our self-esteem is about our personal relationship with ourselves.
